Blowing up a pic

I have a tiny image of a black and white old old old picture.. I need to blow it up to a 6ftx8ft pic.. Is there a program that can do this or someone that can help me out.. I could of sworn i saw a program that was made for this.

Its for a canvas i am turning into a triptych.

What I did recently of an old pic of my grandpa that had passed away was took the small image, and used a scanner to scan it at the highest resolution. When I turned it to 300 DPI, it went from the small dimensions to bigger dimensions and still looked alright when printed. Printed it - was great quality, scanned it again at the highest resolution. Then moved it back down to 300 dpi and it was huge. Then printed it again and used it as a big poster for his funeral. Pic looked good from a distance and up close.

We use Perfect Resize and sometimes even Photo Zoom
Building a mountain from a grain or two of sand probably isn't gonna' work but if you devote some resample effort and prep time, maybe you'll get something that will be useable.
