I have done a lot of blueprint designing and printing, always use a 20lb bond paper using only water base dye or pigment inks, I would not use anything else.

Why not just print on vinyl with solvent ink? You'd have a waterproof document that is easily annotated with a fine marking pen if necessary...just a thought.

I printed the stuff for my new house on vellum I got from standard blue (I got it like 15 years ago and had it in the shop)
