Need Help (BN20) replacement Dampers? or Printhead?

hello
I would like to get some advice. I originally used BN-20 (printer A) to run a small business. However, one day, blue ink started to seep into the yellow ink area as shown in the photo below, and the resulting color came out messy. (The photo shows a nozzle test after cleaning, so the invaded area is relatively small, but as I print the image, the blue ink gradually invades the yellow area.)

So I bought the same BN-20 (printer B) used a few month ago, but when I came home and did a nozzle test, the black nozzle was messy, as shown in the second photo. When I print images, the area around the black area is messy. (The seller said that he sold it after the test print, so he is not responsible for it.)

I already spent a lot of money on a second printer, so calling a Roland technician is burdensome. What is the best way to solve this situation?
Should I buy a new damper for printer A and replace it?
Or can I put the printer head of A into printer B?
Can I print in CMY-ink only without black ink on printer B?
Or the other ideas?
I will wait for your wise answers.

From the second image, it does appear that there is something wrong with the black nozzles, maybe a head strike or it was improperly transported from the seller to you. A couple things you can try for both printers.

For Printer A, you can try replacing the dampers to see if that helps, if it doesn't, there's a good chance there's a crack in the manifold, which is fixable if you're handy and are very careful. Most likely needing a new head if neither work. This is also dependent on you keeping it run and doing cleaning cycles. If it's been sitting unplugged for a while, you could be looking at a much bigger job and the head will certainly need changing.

For Printer B, you can try a 48 hour head soak and topping off cleaning liquid after 24 hours and see if that improves anything. You could also try connecting a syringe to the line after the cap top and pull ink through and do a cleaning and see if that improves anything. If neither works, you'd be looking at needing a new head for this printer. Did this printer print nice before you bought it?

Hope this helps to guide you in your troubleshooting efforts.

Thank you so much for your answer.
Luckily, I was using Printer A for black image.
I want to replace the damper of printer A as you said. But I can't find a manual or video on the internet for replacing the damper. How did you all replace it?
Printer B previously soaked the head for only about 10 hours, so I may have had not enough time. I will soak the head over the weekend and give you feedback.

For changing the dampers, you'll first want to clear any ink out of the lines, then power off and disconnect the power cord. You'll have to remove the cover(don't have this printer here), but it uses the same head as my VS-300i. Once you have access to the head you'll need to remove the print carriage cover and then disconnect all the wires and lines, then remove the dampers, then just do everything in reverse. I'd strongly recommend taking photos along the way, will make it much easier for you. I'll also guess someone here might have the BN-20 Service Manual with the steps, but I don't. Hope this gives you at least a vague guide as to what to do.
