boat wrap

just turned down our first request for a boat wrap yesterday. we've had our roland for alittle over a year now and are doing things we haven't done before which i must admit i do like! however we don't do any type of wraps, i leave that to people who know what there doing!

got me thinking, what exactly is involved in a boat wrap? i know flamey did one not so long ago which looked awesome, just how hard is it to do, and do right? again, i wouldn't attempt this myself, but i would be interested in whats involved.

In my opinion, it's easier then a vehicle. Just need some experience using the right material.
here's one we did.

We just used 3m Edge sealer. And if i was to wrap another boat, i'd use avery now.

Why Avery on the next boat? I've used Arlon, 3M, Oracal and General Formulations, but never tried Avery. I have had pretty bad luck with their cut vinyls in the past.
