Bulb storage

We have been fighting the storage of bulbs on our service truck. I believe we have come up with a solution. Each 8" pvc pipe will hold 18-20 bulbs. We have added dividers in a few so we have bulbs in each end of 4 tubes. So far this is working out great.

accord-ra: HO fluorescent bulbs for signs.

We have placed bubble wrap as a filler where needed when the tubes are not full and foam padding glued to the screw-in caps so if the bulbs slide from acceleration and braking. We put dividers in some of the tubes to accommodate bulbs in both ends of 4 tubes.
We have "compartments" sized for F120-T12 down to F24-T12 bulbs.

We are going to add 1 more for 10' sign posts, power strut and threaded rods.

I believe the cost was around $1400 for everything. We should save this in about 5-6 months in fuel and additional trips not needed for missing bulbs.
