bulk ink for new roland?

Hi Guys & Girls
I currently have a sp300 using aftermarket blank carts with non roland inks,
works great no issues, am looking at a new or near new sp540 or vs machine,
does anybody know if these later machines with newer firmware will accept blank carts without chips?? or any other type of bulk ink system

If non-oem chips are detected, the cleaning cycles performed on the unit are dramatically increased (3x I think).

New Unit = Warranty = OEM INKS ONLY (IMO)
