Business cards, Header cards, posters

So I was curious about my printers capabilities ( iam new to owning a printer and know it does vinyl just fine - using a vp540) but I am curious what type of printer is used to make business cards, header cards an glossy posters? yeah it may be a dumb question...but I am curious because I would like to be able to print this stuff mself if possible.

I think your are looking at offset or screen printing for high volume things like
that. Business cards, letterhead, brochures, etc. are going to most likely be
created using offset printing.
