Buying a New printer tomorrow. XG-640?

I currently have a surecolor 40600, its been 5 years and I am now getting a print head error - we were printing fine then out of nowhere print head error.

6k for a new head and repair person to come fix.

My first printer was a VP540 and i liked the print and cut feature because I would leave it unattended sometimes / control it remotely

I see many posts on here of people hating on Roland and saying only buy Epson. I do love my epson but I think the extra colors, new tech and build in cutter would be good for me. Looking for opinions, I use mainly for stickers and labels

Buy it from a good dealer who you know will be responsive and don't look back. Roland makes great equipment with the best warranty in the business. I can count on one hand - out of the thousands of Roland units we've sold - that were not successful. Everybody makes good prints nowadays....it is more about who supports the printer

Please do keep in mind that the warranty now is only one year for VG3 series coming out brand new. Of course you can buy additional years and if you purchase the second year warranty, it will be the same price as the printer used to be in the past as the printer price has dropped significantly on VG3.

Thank you for sharing that. They were pretty quiet when changing that warranty!
