Anyone have directions or a video would be great on replacing a cablecard on a Roland? I should have the parts on Wednesday or so.

This is for a sp540 Versacamm

It tells you how to get into the service mode. It did'nt work for me. My supplier gave me the new sequence. If you need that, then you have to wait until Monday when I get back to work.

Now, 20 years ago, my job was to service electronic equipment such as this type of machine. And I think I was pretty good at it. Many here will tell you how easy it is.

It may be my age, or the fact that my glasses keep falling off when I bend over, but I found it to a pain to change and remember telling myself that next time I was going to pay someone else to do it.

You need to have good eyes, nimble fingers and have to climb under the machine to connect the cable to the board.
