Camm 24 drags in Cutting

I am having cut troubles with my Roland Camm 24... blade drags on some curves and certain straight cuts? any advice on perhaps an adjustment or cleaning that may help? I'm losing alot of vinyl to re-work...any assistance would be greattly appreciated....

try a new blade or platen strip

If it's not the blade or cutter protection strip, take the blade out of the holder and spray just a little WD40 at the base of the blade and put back in holder. This works great when I had skipping similar to what you described.

Check the blade, cut strip, and mostly the blade holder for vinyl inside, but the bearings DO wear out and the holder need replacing (cost about $40).
