Can you set an HP Latex 365 to scan the image only?

Does anyone know if is possible to set the HP latex printer 365 to scan only the image when printing?
I have jobs that requires a lot of white unprinted area, for example, I have to print several banners 36x48, but the image in the center and is only 30x8, but the machine start scanning since the beginning until the end, it will scan the entire 48x36. can the printer be set up to advance to the start of the image, print the image and then advance to the end to print the crop marks?

Any information will be appreciated.

Not that I know of. Would sure be convenient though.

The printer needs to cure everything it prints at the same rate, including crop marks, so it feeds at the same rate for the entire print.
