All,

I need to see if someone has the dimension of the base length, width, height, any odd shapes or angles. No RMO. Trying to see what I can move this with.
Second Question, anyone got a Service Manual, SDS Key or anything related to that?

Moved mine by rolling it onto a liftgate halfway and a pallet stacker (forklift would work too) on the other end suspending it with straps. Used the stacker and gate to lift each end simultaneously, gently rolled printer into the struck and strapped it down. Need a 16' box truck, 4-6 sraps and should be good to go. Make sure to empty waste ink and remove ink bags.

Unless it is a very short move (as in within a building through a flat surface), the proper procedure is to install the included brackets and fasteners and detach the carriage, then secure the table and carriage to skids. There are other ways to safely move it, like Mr. Smoke_Jaguar's method, but this is the way we prefer for most moves.

I was considering picking up a 1280GT because it was quite cheap (around 10k) and would be a good backup for my 460XT. When we got our XT I remember the process of decommissioning it and installing it was extensive and cost close to 10k by itself. Given the much smaller size of the GT, and cheap price point for a used one, risking lifting with forklift onto box truck is something I was thinking of doing also, so good to see someone else has already done this.

Some risk in bending the frame but if dis-assembly and re-assembly with technician involved is going to cost the same, maybe worth it.
