Need Help Canon Colorado - White 3 layers.

Hello,
Can you tell me please if its possible to print 3 layers on Colorado M5 using onyx RIP, with the following structure?
TOP layer : cmyk
Middle layers : white
BOTTOM layer : Black only layer (but not entirely/flood))
This is the Illustrator structure.

Material is clear film, and print mode White 3 layer (selected in onyx from media profile)

My aim is to create a partial blockout layer underneath the CMYK layer, but after different tries of layering, at the printing process all I can get is the CMYK top layer repeated under the white layer.
I want the bottom to be different (more opaque) but it seems it cannot replicate the Illustrator structure.
Do I miss any check mark or special labelling for the layers? Or is it possible only using PrismaXL?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

I don't know about doing it exlusively in Onyx....but I don't think it would be a problem using PrismaGuide software. Here is a video on making a 5 layer print, but the setup would be similar for 3 layer.

I'm pretty confident you'll need to design your layers in PrismaGuide and then send to Onyx. I'll call my guru and get back to you.

It’s all about your print!
You shouldn't need Prisma Guide but I think that depends on which version of Onyx your running. As of 24 (possibly 22.5) you can set your layers right in the print settings of the file.
Right click on your image and select Job Options>Customize (Next to Define Layers) then you can choose what type you want each layer to print.
In order to do 3 or 5 color printing you have to be on High Quality or above.
In your case since you don't want a full blockout you can just use multiple pages and set one of the pages to your black layer and set it to CMYK data.
