Can anyone help?? The tutorial video claims all you need to do is import the file. However this is not working??

Can't open a CDR with Flexi???

I am not at my comp currently but it does seem like I have been able to do it in the past. I will check when I get home but it may have something to do with the version you are saving as.

the cdr is a customer supplied file.. I get no error message??

have the customer export to an eps then send you the file. make sure to tell them to convert all shapes to curves and all outlines to objects.

^ Even better, I think I may have had the same issues you have mentioned but havent tried it any awhile. It will appear to be importing but will never actually import.
