Tried to remove a cartridge from my VS-540, the Cartridge moves up about an inch and that it. Any ideas?

Take the rear access panel off the cartridge area and you should be able to see if it is catching on the pin guide or the chip reader. You may have to remove more screws and lift the metal cover around the cartridges to get a better look... Not a fun thing to do but you should be able to see something.
I would think that with it moving up an inch, the cartridge has not leaked and fused to the cartridge bay plastic.
