I'll start by asking what you're engraving into (material), what (artwork) are you engraving, and what bits do you have at your disposal?

Styrene. 313 is the artwork( basic letters). Also the engraver but in the picture.

Styrene is outside of my wheelhouse here, if left with no other option, I'd start the spindle at 10k RPM and 60 in/min and make a small box, see if it is melting more than cutting, and increase the feedrate if so. You can probably cut this stuff at a pretty quick speed, but that would be where I start.
