Changing Ink Types

Hi Our printer (JV3-130) has been sitting for about a year or so, know I am trying to get it up and going again. The inks are still TS solvent inks and these are no longer available. I want to go to HS solvent inks can this be done by myself or do I need a tech to reprogram for the different chips on the inks:help

Should be able to do it yourself depending on what Firmware is on the machine
v7.61 or higher is needed, set of cleaning carts and set of ink and do a discharge and wash, select HS and fillup.

You could try Michael at Biwize for more specifics on the change.

Ok Michael is the guy that comes down to Tassie as what I have heard do you have a contact number for him?

Also if the firmware isn't 7.61 can you update it and if so where can you get the firmware from?
