I've always been able to change the speed on different settings for different materials. I had some long material to run and wanted to slow it down. I went to the condition involved and changed the speed to 10, hit enter, and went to plot and it was reading 50. Also, when it's cutting, the pause button isn't working?

Check your cut software to make sure it isn't set to override the cutter. Flexi is notorious for defaulting to overriding for example.

In Flexi Production Manager click on cutter you are using, when open click setup in upper left of screen, click change default properties, click knife icon (3rd one from left) click change box, click drop down (Fast, Slow) change to None then ACCEPT, Then OK. EXit screen.
Now Every job sent to this cutter will use the settings you programed into the cutter or settings you set up in the cut window of job printed.
