Chrome/Brushed/Gold/Silver Metallic for Solvent printers

Hi,
Have been looking for materials that works to print in our Epson SC80600 Solvent printers for a while.
We used to use Orajet's brushed aluminium & Chrome but they stopped producing those.

Are there any other options?
The ones i try always raise at the borders if you print all the way to the edges, even if i let it rest over the weekend.
Right now we have to UV print on 3M 7903 reels and that is both slow and the material is very expensive.
I much rather find a material that works in our Epsons.
Have tried Hexis P6870 - couldnt be solvent printed, Titan Chrome TSSX-90 which can be printed but raises at the edged, R-foil/tape(? cant remember the name) which lifted from the backing paper.
Another problem we have is 3M 3698 Silvermetallic, its a foil that seems impossible to change to something else.
That material is insanely expensive and we have been looking for options for years, anyone know of anything?
No material i find has the same look of the silver metallic as the 3M foil has.
Also on the lookout for holographic foils & laminates with effects like cracked ice.

We print on the 180c Silver Metallic, we slow down the print speed so that it has time to dry (and not run/pool) between passes,
I know we have also printed on the Avery Chrome wrap vinyl with good results.
Making speed/heat adjustments can make a lot of unprintable materials much more "printable".

The problem we had with this material was that it raised at the edges sadly, i have done another textprint today to see if it works better.

Like my attached photo but much, much worse. To the point of raising off the backingpaper.

The solution (and usually recommended by the mfgrs) is to leave an un-printed border around the edges. Not usually what you want to do, but unfortunately, with a lot of the metalized vinyls it's the most economical way.

Vinyl is vinyl and solvent ink is solvent ink and solvent ink pretty much print on vinyl. Pretty much. If you're printing on metallics then all you need is silver. For exactly the same reason the most all vinyl traditionally used for printing is white. If you need gold or some other color, just print it. For years I used to print on 3M and/or Oracal top of the line metallic vinyls. It works just fine. Be sure and select the lightest silver available in order to at least attempt to provide something resembling a white point.

Just odd to me how Orajet 3301 worked flawlessly for us but now we cant find a replacement, very frustrating.
Put your point about gold ofcourse makes perfect sense!

I noticed you didn't mention that you are laminating the print before contour cutting, could that reduce the edge lifting?

We do, but our biggest product is Domelabels and between the days where we cut it and put the dome resin on it, the edges has lifted.
Domelabels does not get laminated, the domematerial protects the label.
