Circle Design in Flexi

So I for thelife of me can not figure out how to make a circle to work with my kona cutter. I have tried using AI file and PDF file etc an everytime i send to print cut, the print part looks great but the vector image for the cutting as jagged/stepped as crap. Does anyone have simple (dummy proof) step instructions on how I can do this, what I believe should be fairly simple thing? I have flexi sign an print editor (mutoh edition) if that matters. I have both psd, PDF, or AI files. whatever way is the most simple. Thanks for any help..again.

Can you not just create a circle the size you need in Flexi with no fill or border, than assign it a contour cut?
