CJV 30 160 white issues

First of all, Hello. This is my first post. I am working with a cmyklclmw set up on a CJV 30 160. One of the whites is printing fine. The other is not printing at all. After reading the forum a bit. We pulled the covers off to notice the line was empty for about 12" from the head. We cleared the line with a wire and some syringes. Then proceeded to try and get the ink to load back up. It doesn't want to fill the line it seems to just seems to cause a bunch of suction. Then after suck back any solution that's in the capping station. Any thoughts?

On the CJV in order to pull ink manually through the lines you have to open the ink cartridge valve in the back. If you take the cover off the ink cartridge holder you will see the valves on the back of each cartridge assembly. Open the white channel valve that you need to pull ink through and tape it open so that it doesn't shut on you. Now you should be able to pull through. if not, you have a clog somewhere along the line.

Yes, Open the valve for the line you want to fill and then use a syringe to pull the ink down into the damper. Once it is in the damper, one cleaning cycle should pull it into the head.

Yeah I think there is an issue with the valve. i cleaned the line with a wire and have no problem pushing ink through with a syringe. But when i connect a syringe at the head end. I cannot pull ink with the valve tapped open.

replaced the valve and were golden. Thanks for the help.
