Making America great, one sign at a time.
Hello!
We have a set of awnings with different business on it. We finally get the call to replace the only one we have not done since 2010. My installer comes back and says the vinyl came off but left a black tar-like sticky stuff that WILL NOT come off.
Being the boss, i had to go see what in the blazes he was inferring to.
Needless to say, i used alcohol, windex, citrus power cleaner, goo-gone, mineral spirits, rapid remover, a scrounge sponge, a towel, a paper towl, a squeegee and lots of elbow grease.
i came back in and said,
"that awning is cursed. that stuff looks like black paint!"
ideas?
