I am removing the graphics off of an old food trailer and reapplying new since it has sold. I am looking for a solution to get all the grime off of the powder coated sides before I reapply Graphics so it will look better. In the past I have used Simple Green and LA's awesome cleaner, and it sure took the grime off the sheet metal so the trailer look a lot better, but the trade-off is that it appeared to soften the powder coating. When removing registration squares or tape after applying the graphic it took some of the powder coating away leaving small but noticeable Mill finished spots.
Any suggestions on other ways to clean or other solvents I can use that won't have the same effect?
