Clear printed vinyl bubbling and warping after only 1 year

I need some advice on clear printed vinyl. I have a customer that is looking to get decals done. He is disappointed in the ones he got last time because they started to fail after only about 6 months to a year. Any thoughts on what the original supplier did? I would like to supply him with more durable decals, but I am not very familiar with the clear vinyl because my old Roland does not print white. These are small decals, so I didn't want to try to do cut decals (the weeding alone would be a nightmare, and they would most likely fail in the cold winter). We are in Utah and the temps can range from 110 degrees F, down to 0 degrees F. This photo is a decal on my car window that we placed there about a year ago.

Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

You'll definitely want to know what was applied before so you can make an informed decision about what to use that will be more durable in the future. I've had good performance with the Drytac Polar Premium Clear product which is a 7 year film and a good adhesive. Most of our customers are in the midwest so we don't exactly get desert heat, but it gets hot and darn cold around here.
