Can anyone explain the logic behind cut order using CM4 out of Illustrator? Some files I've cut lately have cut in a very funky order. The best I can tell, it cuts in the order the elements were created in Illustrator.
A file I loaded into the cutter backwards (because thats how it came off the laminator) started cutting at the back, rather than at the front, while another file would cut a sticker on the left, then go all the way to the opposite end of the row to cut on the right before going back to the center.
Is there any way to define the cut order, say from front to back, left to right, etc?
Should "optimize cutting order" do everything I'm asking?
I believe cutting direction just changes the direction of the cut and does not affect the order.
