Color Chart (finding older post)

Good morning. A few months ago someone shared a Pantone PDF file that can be printed and then trimmed to fit into a small three-ring binder. I downloaded the file but now can't find it. I printed this our on our old printer but would now like to print it on our new printer. Can someone point me in the direction of that post or that file (sorry I can't remember the exact name). I did a couple of searches but turned up empty handed. Thanks in advance.

Here is a color chart I whipped up in Corel. I hope this is what you are looking for.

Jhill - That is the one I was looking for. Thanks so much.

Rfulford - I can use that one as well. Thanks for sharing.

Please be aware that your printed Pantone color chart is not going to match the
real thing.

I had a customer argue with me for 2 days that his PMS 341 was a forest green and why wasn't my proofs showing 341. He had a chart printed on paper (given to him by his "designer") and was told to pick out a color. Forest green is more of a PMS 349. He finally came in to look for himself.

You can get them here & worth the investment:

I use it to see the differences - if someone picks a pms color, I reference the printed chart with a pantone book, and see which is closest - makes my prints hit pms colors easier w/o hardcore profiling etc...

Good point Nancy. I just print the Pantone Corel PDF on a couple of our standard medias (i.e. banner & psa vinyl) for reference, much as jhill said. More often than not, when dealing with a customer that has some banner or a printed "logo" but has no digital artwork (or it was designed in MS Paint & Word) to give me, I can compare my print colors to their print to get me in the ballpark. May not be the best way but it works for us. Thanks for the tip.
