Color is waaay off

We've been having trouble recently with the color output from Flexi 8 and our Mutoh falcon outdoor jr. I've been trying to fiddle with options in the color profile but I'm afraid I can't find many options to screw with. I haven't had any reason to do so before now, so it's likely I'm overlooking something obvious. For now "linearization" seems to be the only thing affecting ink output. (that I can find)

We've been using the same color profile when printing from Flexi 8 for ages. Haven't touched the settings in years because they're just right. Or they used to be-- a few weeks ago the print color started going off. Lighter, like it was laying down less ink. And in the wrong ratios, slightly off-color.

Comparing it to a (correct) color chart I printed two years ago, with identical settings, the colors are slightly too pastel, and the greyscale tinted slightly burgundy-brown. (Linearization: CMYK 90.90.60.90) So I fooled around with linearization and cranked all the ink levels up to 100 just to see what would happen, and everything is of course way more yellow-brown than they should be.

Cranked down to 100.90.75.90 (again, just to see what would happen) and now it's not printing the colors at all, just a washed-out black-dark grey. I don't get it.

I plan to call our main tech support later today when I'm not drowning in yard signs (at least the plotter still works) but any insight in the meantime would be great.

Thanks!
