Color management in Flexi

I just purchased Flexi 8.5 for the Mac. I am printing to a Mutoh Falcon printer. I need to apply a color profile to my prints but I can't figure out how to do it. I have downloaded several .ptf files from several vinyl manufacturers but can't load them. I tried pressing the load button in the color man tab of the rip/print tab but the .ptf files are grayed out. When I try loading just an icc profile I get a message from flexi that thick profile is incompatible.

A .ptf is a preset, not a profile.. A profile will end .icc

So how do I load a preset? When I go to load a preset it is grayed out. I come from the offset print world and understand color man I just can't figure how to load these. It almost seems like something isn't working right with flexi.

First, if all else fails, READ THE MANUAL!
