Colorado M Series Magnetic Kit

Grizzly

It’s all about your print!
Has anybody used the Magnetic Kit for the M that enables printing on Magnet?
Curious about how it works and if it works well.

I have the Colorado 1650 and have the magnetic kit. A GAME CHANGER.
I was running magnet material on a Roland XR640 with alot of set up time, with the Canon magnet kit I load and go. Printed four .025 30" x 50' rolls of Magnum Magnetics today.
I have printed .030 also but .025 runs great. Magnum has the specs for the Canon printers.

Hi. Considering installing Magnetic kit. What changes/modifications are made with magnetic kit for Colorado-M? Are there software updates for the printer as well?

FireSprint.com

Trade Only Screen & Digital Sign Printing
We have two of them (on two of our 3 Colorado Ms)

They work well for 020 and thinner magnet. If you order 020 magnetic from us. It was printed on a Colorado M with a magnet kit. https://www.firesprint.com/die-cut-magnets/

The kit basically replaces anything in the machine that the magnet can get stuck to with stainless. It's tech installed.

Thanks for the info! We have the kit on order. One tech has told us you lose the ability to use both roll slots. Another says you can omit one of the steps.
Do you still use both rolls? We're planning on printing 48" wide .020 Magnum Magnetic.

You can still use both positions.
Magnet only in front, vinyl in both front and rear.
I'm running the .025 Magnum Magnet.
REMBER TO SET THE MEDIA THICKNESS.
