I currently have a gerber edge printer and omega software and am looking to purchase a second hand graphtec ce5000-60 to cut motorcross graphics on 6mil convex with 12 mil prosheild.
My problem is will the omega software run this plotter? do i need to down load a different driver to do this?

Will my edge printer print the optical registration marks for the graphtec to be able to pick it up.
Software supplied with this machine is a) Signlab 7.1 b) Coreldraw x3 c) Coreldraw x4 d) Adobe Illustrator CS3 e) Impact Vehicle Libary f) Logo's (UK & US) g) Vector Images & Fonts
or will this software run my gerber printer?
Thanks

The ce5000-60 is a supported plotter in Omega. If you check the target settings in GSPPlot, among them you will find a four corners selection. SignLab will also run the Edge and the [/FONT]ce5000-60 if you have the thermal module as part of the license. Because the Edge uses 12" foil ribbons, some of the available print height will be lost to printing the targets in each corner regardless of whether you use Omega or SignLab.
