Converting to curves, not working

I have a simple design in CorelDraw 12. When I convert it to curves and bring into my cutting program Summa Winplot it's missing a few letters. Whats up with that?

how are you bringing it into winplot, cut and paste, eps import? Did you check the letters in corel, are there an unusually large number of node points in those letters? Is the drawing complex to begin with? Have you imported other drawings / text into winplot?

I don't use winplot, but with a bit more info may be able to help find a reason.

Bringing it in as eps, I've done it a million times before with no problems..
I checked my letters in Corel first in wireframe and everything is good.
Drawing is simple.

try this once... assuming it is a word, in corel convert to curves, then, with the word selected, use the 'break apart' (ctrl + k) command. select the letter(s), one at a time, that have an inside shape like an "O". Combine the shapes of that letter. Repeat. After all that, group all the letters of the word together, export as eps, and retry the import.


Oh, is this a font you imported / used before? I have had certain fonts do some really bizzarre (sp?) things in corel.

Taking your advice "was the font used before" (yes) I redid it with new fonts and it worked. Screwy huh?
