Corel Draw X8

I have Corel Draw X8. For some reason, the program crashes frequently when I am opening the CDR file.
Any ideas on what is going on? I really need to fix this before next Friday. Thanks.

Most programs leave behind a temp file when they crash. When you get in a situation where the program crashes in the same spot everytime, try closing the program and deleting all the files in your temp folder. Ignore the ones windows won't let you delete. Those are active temp files.

Windows - Search programs and files - Type %temp%

Sometimes the file may be corrupt or way too large for Corel to handle.

Not sure if it helps, but F8+opening the program resets to defaults. Might be worth a try.
