Corel4 help

Sorry, Corel X4. I want to create just a black background with some small white dots and 4 point stars on it, but I would like to make some of the stars appear to be brighter or twinkling if you will. What is the easiest way to achieve this effect? Any help is always appreciated.

I havent seen Corel 4 in a ten years or more. Do you possibly mean Corel X4 (14)?

not an expert on corel but try making a layer for each star or group of stars then play with the gradience and opacity hope it was of any help
