Counterfeit Command Strips?

Steenland

I use heavy-duty Command Strips by the dozen to hang temporary exhibit panels. I've ordered them in boxes of 120 pairs from Amazon for years with no problems.

Command Strips have always had the Command logo on the adhesive liner, but the strips I received today just have a clear adhesive liner. Everything else appears to be the same (see photo).

I'm conducting a wall adhesion test now, but has anyone else seen this? Did 3M change the adhesive liner, or should I be suspicious of these?

Man who touches printers inappropriately.
3M stuff is counterfeited like crazy on ebay and Amazon. Sometimes it's good, usually trash that fails instantly or in short time. Or worse, isn't temporary and can even stain things.

Everything else looks exactly the same so if these were counterfeit why would they not copy the liner exactly too?

if it was sold by Amazon then chance of counterfeit is very low.

third party seller could be but those boxes look exactly the same.

It's all the time on Amazon. Counterfeit can be very hard to distinguish. I bought DeWalt batteries shipped and sold by amazon and they were counterfeit. The level of detail they copied was surprising and most people wouldn't be able to tell.

i disagree,
a lot of the chinese billionaires who own factories, have a system, if you were giving them orders keeping their equipment busy for a 16 hour day, and you cut it back to 12 hours, they run the other 4 hours and sell the
counterfeit product on ali baba. i was reading something about how they are doing serious damage to weathertech floormats, by counterfeiting his product and sellilng on ali baba

disagree all you want but your head in buried in the sand. I've dealt with it on Amazon... this video came out last week detailing how pervasive the counterfeits are and amazon does nothing.
