creation pcut 1200 problems

could anyone help me, I can do a test cut with no problems, but when I go to cut from win pc sign 2007 a message saying can't initialize device check configuration comes up.
I'm using a USB connection and have identified the right port, ,so need help to get further

Try a different USB cable, or better yet... use a serial cable. Those PCUTs are pretty selective when it comes to using USB cables.

thanks for help, I thought you might have hit the nail on the head as I had two cables joined. Used just one short one and are still having probs. I might still have to try a serial cable like you said,

Just dont use very long serial cable, cose it can pickup "noise"from other cables. We had problems with 1 pcut 1200 and long cables.
