CutContour line present, but not parsing in Caldera VR 8. Also, cutlines are shifted 0.1" to left

This has been happening a lot lately -- AI files with CutContour spot color on a stroke-- not showing up in VR8. I have to pop the AI file into InDesign, then apply the CutContour on a shape. Then it works fine.

Another weird thing: CutContours output from VR8 to Colex OXF files have to be nudged 0.1" to the right once they're in Optiscout. This started happening before the non-parsing CutContour lines.

Ideas?
