Cutter always at max pressure.

This my be a lost cause but I thought I would ask anyway. My roland is tied up and will be for the entire day. I have a cheep vinyl express r31 that I was using for another job. Halfway through the job the cutter stops, the computer restarts, and now when I turn it on it goes to it max pressure setting. Not on the settings or the screen just the knife. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I really need both machines up and running today. Thank you.

So no matter what setting you configure on the computer or the cutter (does the cutter have an option to configure the speeds and pressure on it or is it all from the computer ?) it still does max pressure. Also what pressure do the computer/cutter indicate ?
