I have a XC540 and have been experiencing problems when cutting a file after it has been laminated and it looks as if parts of the letters havent been fully cut, like the blade is jumping over parts of the text. I have only noticed this on a specific file we use and it has a serif font in it. Ive tested blade force, up speed, speed,replaced blades, tried different blades, adjusted the offset value for each blade, done test cuts etc but nothing seems to help. Any thoughts anyone??

Replace the cutting strip and/or blade holder.... have you extended the blade tip out of the blade holder a bit more? Is the blade holder securely tightened in?
Is it only on the corner, start, or end of the cut?
same error in same place on specific letters only?
