I need some suggestions here.
I changed the Cyan head on our JF 1631. Everything went well (putting in the head). I went to run a hard clean to fill up the head and i noticed that the damper didn't compress.
I checked the alignment. Clean again....same issue. I then replaced the damper and ran a clean. Damper didn't fill. I Then used a syringe and pulled ink into the damper. Filled the reservoir. Ran a clean again....no compression. I then changed the rubber cap and realigned the cap. Clean and no compression. I then replaced the pump and still didn't get any compression.
I finally thought that it just might be a bad head. I put the old head back on and had the same issues. I realigned the head several times and nothing.
Any suggestions? I'm just banging my head on the wall.
Thanks!
