I've had the image disappear and it go black on me as well. Never lost anything and after clicking layers a few times everything came back. Annoying. No bandwith or freeze up issues. Running Windows 8 and CS6.

I'm currently running Windows 8 on a 32bit system. Running Adobe CS5.5, designing in Illustrator, Photoshop, ripping and printing in versaworks. Haven't had any issues at all.
So far I've notice its performing much smoother than Win 7 & Vista 64bit.
Mind you its only a 32bit Win 8, 4gb ram, quad core.

Could be something simple. Check and make sure that the plugs on your your monitor / mouse / keyboard are tight in the sockets, and make sure your video card is properly seated.

If that doesn't do it, what are the specs on your computer?

I have cs5 and flexy 8.1 I sent the computer back and got me a FX6840-57 i7-870 2.93GHz with windows 7. I think 7 runs so mutch better.

Win8 Sucks

I purchased a new Win8 Dell XPS desktop, $1700 worth. Returned it after 4 days of trying to maneuver around it's issues. Purchased Win7 OS HP system with similar specs., it's stable, friendly, etc. I don't recommend Win8 OS to anyone. Toss Win8 OS out the window.

I have a feeling that Win 7 is going to be the next XP.

To me Win 8 should have been split into one version for tablets and mobile devices and the other version for regular desktop users. It's just too focused for mobile/touch devices for the desktop user. In my opinion for what it's worth.
