Did they change the scroll zoom in X5?

We upgraded from X3 to X5 a month or two ago and I seem to be unable to navigate for some odd reason, the zoom tool from the scroll wheel. When I want to zoom in X3, I can zoom right in and out just how and where I want. When I do the same thing in X5, it never seems to do what I want, but I can't quite understand what's different.

Is there a setting, or am I going crazy and they didn't change anything?

I'm a zooming in and out machine in X3, but I can't make it work how I'm used to in X5.

Anyone else notice a change in the way scroll zoom works?

The zoom in X5 drives me nuts. The latest patch that was listed in this thread: http://www.signs101.com/forums/showthread.php?t=89924 seemed to improve it some, but it still isn't as good as X3.

There are some options - I'm not sure, but I think a fresh install of Corexl X5 defaults to NOT center the mouse when zooming. I've included a picture of my preferences for the zoom tool - works great for me. Hopefully this helps some.
(BTW - to get to this screen - just go Crtl+'J'>Workspace>Toolbox>Zoom Tool)
