I disagree with this, having multiple teacher's in my family, they steer away from politics with students. I had no professors in college try to influence me politically, they were just teaching their subject of specialty. Only those classes dealing with political science or philosophy would deal with any political views, and in those cases that is what you were signing up for.

Yes they did, including my design professors from Finland and painting professor from Nigeria. The latter actually was one of the best artists I've ever met, I learned a lot about painting from him.
