The only drawback about it that I do not like is that almost all cameras nowadays have the rechargeable battery packs; I wanted one that still took AA's - when you're off on vacation every store sells AAs and they pop in immediately and are ready to go. I don't like worrying about when my battery might die and I have to wait an hour to recharge and miss a good photo opportunity. But, this is just my personal preference.
....and that's walking around the site with the camera on a good part of the time and using the LCD display on the back, not the viewfinder.
