Digitally printed label that is half matte and half gloss.

Hello ll,

I have a customer that is looking to have short run labels printed that are half gloss and the other half would be matte finish. I have a roland vs 640 and have made some samples for him of gloss and matte labels but now the marketing company wants us to have both on one.

Any Ideas? I would far it out if I have to.

what your looking to do is called spot UV.

You may want to check with GRprint.com and request a special quote if your looking to sub that out. I am not sure if it's even possible myself or cost efficient. I have never seen it done on a label before.
