Bob, a lot depends on the type of work you’re running on the BAI machine, but consistency and clean sequencing matter more than anything. I’ve seen good results from digitizers who actually understand production embroidery instead of just auto-converting artwork.
A few shops I know have had positive experiences with Impact Digitizing, especially for logos and cap designs where trims and stitch flow can become an issue. The better digitizers usually stand out in how well the file actually runs on the machine, not just how it looks on screen.
