Disappearing Fonts

Hi all,
I run Signlab 6.1 on a laptop using Windows XP, but save all my work on an external hard drive.
Occasionally I go to re-open a particular job, and a message pops up “font xyz not found in your system, please replace with another font”.
Has this happened to others and is there a reason and remedy?

In sign lab go to moduelas and re install all the fonts from all of your drives onto your c drive
file/instal /fonts
check all boxes
