Does Flexi not have a save function where I can save "SELECTED" as an option?

It seems to me I have to save everything on the screen and I don't want to do that. Is there a different function to do that?

You can export selected only or Invert Select (Ctrl+Shift+I) and delete, before you Save or Save as...

I can't think of a reason to save only a selection of a file and not the whole file. But if you want to save just part of what's on the screen, copy it, paste to new file and save that. Or you can export only a selection as an older version of FS. It will still open in newer versions.
