Doing Commercial Wallpaper Install, Certifications Required?

Hey guys,

So we are doing a commercial wallpaper project for a couple stores that are being built.. we use some In-House Wallpaper material from our distributor that we like, but it does not have any certifications, fire retardant, mold resistant, smoke resistant, etc..

Should we be worried about potential building code violations if we don't use something like Dreamscapes or Korographics that has Type II certifications, etc, and fire retardant, mold resistant, etc?

Thanks,

In our experience with new construction we have been asked to provide at a minimum the fire certificates. Once did a casino in Iowa with tons of foam core prints in frames. We had to use fire certified.

On the new constructions we have done, the general contractors end up asking for them. Usually after the fire Marshall asked. Anymore with new construction we just give them the certification up front. for wallpaper we use dreamscape.
My thought better to go in expecting it, at some point some inspector will ask for them.
