Double Trouble

Im printing with a eco solvent roland xc540 on ultraflexx double sided 18 0z banner material and am getting terrible results when printing on the back side. The front prints great and than once its flipped the back sided has been terrible. We ve tried cleaning turning the heaters on off etc. and have had no luck.
Any suggestions or is this a bad roll?
