Drifting Magenta Issue - JF 1631

For some time I have been dealing with a drifting magenta issue on one of my JF 1631. Under the black print head cover over time it seems magenta ink mist has been getting airborne and is slowly covering everything. In addition on the wood surface i am printing on I will get magenta drift or overspray on the lighter areas.

any thoughts as to why this would happen? I only see it with magenta.

I have attached the image and you can see the reddish tint at the top of the two yellow letters
